What did I miss of the Ultra Right Wing make-believe world?

I took much needed time off from monitoring hate speech on the Media, I'm back and I learned that... GASP! Hitler was a Liberal! This is according to Glenn Beck, whom his Hatemonger Compadre Michael Savage called a 'hemorrhoid with eyes' while at the same time saying that he [Beck] 'will have a mental break down on air any day now'.
I think that M. Savage either missed it or can't tell due to his own frequent mental meltdowns, the fact is that Beck already had the mental breakdown and, to date, hasn't come out of it, but since he works at FOX News, he is indistinguishable from the rest of the cast.

I really needed time off, in keeping an eye on Ultra Right Wing Radio, M. Savage, S. Hannity, B. O'Reilly, G. Beck, et al, one runs the danger of having one's brain turned into mush; while I'm afraid that my respite will not totally insulate me from this peril, having recharged my batteries will reinforce my sort-of-anti-ultra-right-wing-mental-sickness-force-shield.

Well, I'll stick with Beck's antics on this post, let's see:

Beck tells Palin, "The Left is the only one with the real history of violence"; again suggests danger to Obama, hmmm, are they friends now? Last I hear that Beck's Paranoia was telling him that Palin was after his spot.
Is he suggesting that the Left will hurt Obama? I remember that before I left, the right wing was the one coming really hard against the President, even bringing loaded guns to rallies, what has changed?
"Beck suggests Obama in danger from his advisers: "Dear God, protect our president." Discussing former White House adviser Van Jones, Beck asked, "Do you think it's safe to have an individual like that around the president of the United States? Are you comfortable with that?" Beck concluded: "Please pray for our Secret Service, make sure that they do their job. Dear God, protect our president." [Fox News' Glenn Beck, 1/21/2010]

WOW! Second item and my head is already reeling, what is he suggesting? Also, praying for President Obama? He, Glenn Beck?
Beck: Progressive civil war "could become dangerous": "Let me show you why the president is in danger." Beck stated of Sen.-elect Scott Brown's victory in the Massachusetts special election: "[It's] going to trigger a revolution or a civil war in the Democratic Party. It's progressives versus Democrats. It's blue versus gray. And this is a war that I think could become dangerous -- hopefully not." Beck further asserted that "the republic is in danger" and stated that "the president is in danger" from "revolutionaries" such as former White House communications director Anita Dunn and SEIU president Andy Stern. [Fox News' Glenn Beck, 1/20/2010]

Well, even a broken watch is right twice a day, "It's progressives versus Democrats", I don't mean that I agree there will be a civil war in the Dem Party, only that he may have a point that Democrats are not progressive, health care reform anyone?

If it wasn't so tragically sad, I'd be laughing my heart out, but I can't because this is a comedy of horrors, stoically I continued to look up what else he has been saying:

Beck: "Watch the uber-Left. Pray that Obama moves to the center. If he does, pray that the Secret Service care for that man" -- Beck's website: "Progressives want you dead." On his website, Beck posted the headline: "Not 'useful'? Progressives want you dead" -- Beck: Progressives "started a hundred-year time bomb, they planted it in the early 1900s." -- Beck: "To the day I die, I am going to be a progressive hunter, Beck compared himself to "Israeli Nazi hunters" and commented "I'm going to find these big progressives and to the day I die I'm going to be a progressive hunter." -- Beck: Progressives "are sucking the blood out of the republic" and are "gonna start getting more and more violent." -- Beck compares Fox News to Jews during the Holocaust, other news organizations to silent bystanders. -- Beck: "Just pray for protection, please." On his radio show, Beck told his listeners he is "fighting for you and ... your children" and asked them to "pray" for "safety" and "protection." -- Beck: "I fear a Reichstag moment, a -- God forbid -- another 9-11, something that will turn this machine on." -- Beck: "[Y]ou will have to shoot me in the forehead before you take away my gun" and "before I acquiesce and be silent." Beck warned "ACORN, GE, Obama, SEIU" were "awakening a sleeping giant, and I have nothing to do with it,"

I kid you not, I wish I were but this is really some samples of what this man puts out on the airwaves.

Well, I'm back and in a way I feel that I did not miss much, he is still the same, using the same violent imagery; he is a either Nazi Hunter look-alike who will be hunting progressives, A Patriot, A very religious man, a chicken little, a very mentally disturbed man, or, all of the above?.

Not being a professional on health care, I can't form a clinical opinion, therefore, I have to leave it at my thought that no normal person can have that twisted of an imagination, hence, there has to be something else at play.

Nahunta, Georgia : Ku Klux Klan's anti-immigrant demostrations - under the premise that “God put each race in their respective continent and they were meant to stay there“ - Photos of Demonstrations

Notes from the Trail
by Juan Rodriguez
We are four students from Florida – Felipe Matos, Gaby Pacheco, Carlos Roa, and Juan Rodriguez – who were brought to the United States by our families when we were young. This is the only country we have known as home. We have the same hopes and dreams as other young people, and have worked hard to excel in school and contribute to our communities. But because of our immigration status, we’ve spent our childhoods in fear and hiding, unable to achieve our full potential. We walk in order to share our stories and to call on our leaders to fix the system that forces people like us into the shadows, stripping us of the opportunity to participate meaningfully in society.

Notes from the Trail - Contradictions

http://www.trail2010.org/blog/2010/feb/20/contradictions/

Some excerpts :

Today we drove to Nahunta, GA where the Ku Klux Klan was organizing an anti-immigrant demostration, under the premise that “God put each race in their respective continent and they were meant to stay there. “ I can’t help but keep being amused by these concepts that the very organization can’t seem to be able to uphold appropriately. Is the KKK secretly on a campaign to reclaim all lands back for the indigenous people of North America and preparing for the voyage back to Europe? I find this highly unlikely.

It is disappointing that after so many years of social reformation, we still have organizations filled with so much hate convening and gaining the support of communities. When will people actually listen to BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY. I was there too! Hello!? Anybody willing to listen to MY story? I promise I won’t try to convince you of something as obviously absurd as “immigrants are the cause of unemployment and global warming.” How did we do that? With Jalapeño peppers? I’m very confused about this.

Ultimately, the success of today was to be able to stand hand in hand with our friends from the NAACP; singing liberation songs together and acknowledging our united struggle for racial justice. We ALL deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. We all deserve to be acknowledged for our humanity.
