Therefore, it is imperative that each of us, let our Representatives know our wishes in the loudest and widest possibly form

Dear President Obama: Keep The Public Option! - 429 members so far

President Obama and his aides have indicated that in order to reach a compromise, he may drop a government option from the health care reform. Secretary Kathleen Sebelius says it's "not the essential element". Kent Conrad, a senator in the Finance Committee, calls it "a wasted effort". We need to let them know that this compromise will be unacceptable. Obama should not waver on something he at one time claimed to have strongly believed in, just because he has some loud vocal opposition!
