ACTION ALERT!!!: LET'S COUNTER-PROTEST the Racist Anti-Immigration Protests Nation-Wide Nov.14th

Share

From our tireless friend, HLADC-SF's Cynthia Ibarra:

Dear Hispanic/Latino communities and friends: even though we expected it, this are really bad news. The vicious and racist anti-immigrant groups headed by: ALIPAC (William Gheen
President, Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, Director, Tea Party Against Amnesty) are well funded, well organized, in full force, and well ahead in their aggressive and racist anti-immigration campaigns with large protests nation-wide: Teabagger's website scheduled for Saturday Nov.14th-09
We must find a way to show counter-protests! These racist events will take place all over the country, even Alaska has joined!
- In California alone there are 10 events scheduled! Including San Francisco (Location: Fisherman's Wharf Pier 39 Times: 11 AM - 2 PM), San Diego (Location: 50 Tuna Lane 'Tuna Harbor Park across from the USS Midway' Times: 11am - 1pm,); and to add more insult this racist groups scheduled an event in Sacramento's CESAR CHAVEZ PARK!!! (Location: 10th & J Street 'Downtown Sacramento Cesar Chavez Park' Times: 12 Noon - 3pm)

"On their shameful actions against a National Health Plan during Town Hall Meetings, there weren't many demonstrations to counter-protest these extremists' misleading statements and outright lies, the same thing must not happen now, not again, WE MUST BE THERE TO COUNTERACT THEIR HATEFUL LIES" -- Aurora Grajeda (HLADC-SF)

"We plan to hold larger scale operations in the Spring of 2010 and these events in 2009 are our warm up operations." - Said the racist: william gheen, ALIPAC

These are some of their racist and ignorant rants:
"Illegal Immigration is a threat to the citizens, principles and the very existence of the United States of America."
"If you value your freedoms, if you value prosperity, if you value the Rule Of Law and the US Constitution, or if you simply believe that Americans should be self-governed, then you should stand with us!"
"We stand against Illegal Immigration and against any form of Amnesty or path to citizenship. We stand for border security and the enforcement of our existing immigration laws."
"Illegal Immigration can be stopped and reversed, if enough Americans stand up and speak out through events, rallies, calls, letters, faxes, e-mails, organizations, and the ballot box! "
- william gheen, ALIPAC

Tea Party Against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration Nov. 14 (ROUND 1)"
President Obama along with Republican and Democrat DC insiders are
preparing a mass 'Comprehensive' Amnesty for illegal immigrants in
America that will provide a path to citizenship and turn illegal aliens
into voters even though a vast majority of Americans oppose this. This will only bring more ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION to America!
It is time for Americans of every race, religion, and political party to
unite and make it OUR MISSION to stop amnesty, stop and reverse illegal immigration, and place America back in the hands of We The People.

Not as bad as you might think.

William Gheen is an opportunistic hustler. The PT Barnum of our times.

I believe these silly little protests will show that in detail this weekend.

Gheen is a follower. He takes someone else's ideas and tries to make them his own, and take full credit.

You see, Gheen tried to tie his wagon to the mainstream teabaggers and was rejected. This is his solution.

Is ALIPAC a threat? Somewhat, but only as much as Gheen has extensive email lists to spread his propaganda. Most media outlets discard it (with a snicker) and a rare few will give him his moment in the sun.

He scams his followers out of donations to support his lifestyle, rarely donating to political candidates.

He takes credit for the failure of immigration reform in 2007. A LIE!

He has taken credit for the defeat of Governor Jon Corzine of NJ by bringing up Corzine's position on in-state tuition. Problem was, illegal immigration never entered the debate nor did it appear in exit polls. Again, GHEEN LIED

He mobilized his "troops", all 25 or 30 of them to keep Lou Dobbs on the air. HE FAILED!

He promised to derail the nomination, confirmation and appointment of Justice Sotomayor. Even though his rhetoric was filled with hateful lies about this extraordinary woman, HE FAILED!

William Gheen is a monumental failure and a pompous buffoon living in his own little fantasy world, obsessed with little brown people invading his white bread world.

As in this and his other endeavors, he will fail miserably, yet he'll never admit it. Instead, he'll use this moment to scam more money from his followers
